With this data privacy statement, we, Besarta Kukelaj and Viola Strebel from Sport & Medical Massage (hereinafter referred to as we or us), explain why and how we collect personal data. We are committed to protecting and using your information in accordance with applicable law. Personal data refers to all information that relates to a specific or identifiable person.
Please read the data privacy statement carefully and make sure you fully understand our practices regarding your information before using our services. If you have read this policy, fully understand it and do not agree with our practices, you must stop using our services. By using our services, you accept the terms of this data privacy statement. Continued use of the services constitutes your acceptance of this data privacy statement and any changes thereto.
Only data that is related to our therapeutic treatment or that is relevant to contacting you is collected. This is exclusively data that I have recorded with your consent, that you have sent to me or that can be found in publicly accessible directories (e.g. telephone directory). This includes the following data:
• General data about you (name, address, telephone number, etc.)
• Information about the course of the disease, known diagnoses, information about your state of health and all other data that we have discussed as a result of the treatment (patient files).
We store the data exclusively in your patient file and in the Tariff 590 application required for service recording and billing process.
We do not pass on your data to third parties and are not exchanged with each other. A special case occurs if, in the event of a holiday replacement or lack of space, a therapist swap is requested by yourself or suggested by us.
Your data or parts of it will only be made accessible to other people or institutions (insurers, etc.) with your consent. We may disclose your data in the following circumstances: judicial orders, unlawful activities or other misconduct on your part that require third parties to act, to establish or exercise our rights of defense, to protect the safety of our users, the public or our own safety, or to enforce claims on the part of the practice (merger of two companies, etc.).
Electronic data is secured in our practice and applications (firewall, password, etc.). If physical data is generated (MRI reports, prescriptions, etc.), it is stored in a lockable room or cabinet that is not accessible to third parties.
Unless another legal regulation comes into force, your data collected by us will be deleted twenty years after your last consultation in our practice.
For communicating between our practice and you (email, WhatsApp, Combox, SMS), the data is also protected using a standard encryption program.
You may request any of your data collected by us at any time (physically existing data will be copied or scanned). Usually, your data will be handed over free of charge and within 30 days.
Updates or changes to the data privacy statement
We can or must revise this data privacy statement at our own discretion or in accordance with changes to the law. The version published on the website is always current. We encourage you to periodically review this data privacy statement for any changes. If there are any significant changes, we will post a notice on our website.
Your use of the services after the notification of changes on our website will constitute your acknowledgment and agreement to the changes to the data privacy statement and your agreement to be bound by the terms and conditions of such changes.
